Really enjoyed my evening at Storyville. Ordered the jambalaya pasta and it was so delicious! Afterwards, we went downstairs to visit their Speakeasy.

Aaron was just fantastic 👏 👌 🙌🏽 😍 the ambiance is perfect! The smooth dimly lit atmosphere made room for a great drink 🍸 and the food is outstanding especially the Gumbo.....love this spot and if you're in the area please try story ville. You won't be disappointed 🥰

Such a beautiful little place with a lot of charm. The Cajun inspired food is really good, with flavors that blend together beautifully and taste fantastic in every dish. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared and full of character.The restaurant itself is very decorative and clearly on theme, which adds to the overall experience and makes it feel special. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting, making it a great place to go with friends or even for a date.The dim lighting and vibe give it a more intimate feel, which may not be ideal for a first date depending on comfort level, but it definitely creates a unique and memorable setting. Overall, it is a spot that stands out, and I would highly recommend checking it out.

I can’t believe I lived in this neighborhood for two years and never stumbled upon this place. What a nice find on a return visit to Chicago. Highly recommend for NOLA atmosphere, jazz, and the beignets.

I have nothing but positive recommendations to say. The food was on point! We ordered chicken & waffles, bourbon burgers, biscuit & waffle sandwich and shrimp and grits that were equally 10/10. Our waitress Donnie was an absolute angel, attentive and exuded the epitome of hospitality. We will be back the next time we are in Chicago. Also 10/10for the music, decor and vibes. This is an amazing little spot that left a great impression on us. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. Our server was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and a big part of what made the visit so memorable.The food was definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor. While the drinks were just okay, they certainly did not take away from an otherwise excellent experience. Between the great service, tasty food, and charming atmosphere, this is a place we will happily return to in the future.

Amazing little spot, our server was amazing, the drinks were okay. However the food was delicious. The linguine and the binets were my favorite. It was a memorable time and will be returning.

Excellent customer service here at this restaurant. Owner greeted us right when we walked in. There was a table of 16 of us. They were able to accommodate every single last one of us. The food was very fresh and delicious. I want to give a huge S/O to Abel Jada, Sophie, Aavon and Jesus I will also like to give a huge shout out to Steven, who was the entertainer for the night he kept us entertained such a wonderful voice He even sung, happy birthday to my cousin for her birthday we will definitely be back again thank you all

The Cresent City Jambalaya with crispy rock fish was superb! Beautifully decorated restaurant. Oh, and the cocktails were great as well.

Oscar and his team have served me and my family and friends for the past 2 years here! A wonderful place to get a drink, eat delicious food, and enjoy life 🙂

Literally from the moment I walked in … the vibes, customer service, and the food were phenomenal. Truly 10/10 on all levels. The live music really created such a unique atmosphere.

I visited Storyville Chicago and had a really lively, flavorful dining experience. Storyville Chicago The restaurant felt vibrant, modern, and a bit energetic, with a fun atmosphere that worked well for groups and a night out. I ordered a mix of seafood and Southern-inspired dishes, and everything was rich, well-seasoned, and satisfying with bold flavors. The portions were generous, and the presentation was appealing without being overcomplicated. Service was friendly, upbeat, and attentive throughout the visit. It’s a great Chicago spot for seafood, cocktails, and a social dining experience.

My family and I went yesterday for brunch. The service was wonderful. Donnie and Andrew were both delightful and made sure our table had everything we needed. The food was so, so good! I had the All American Breakfast with a side of grits. I'm not sure what the recipe for the grits is, but never change it! We will be back the next time we're in Chicago!

All around great! Service, food, price, and atmosphere was awesome. We went for brunch right at 11 on a Saturday. I would definitely make a reservation as it really fills up quick and I can definitely see why! We ordered biscuits and gravy (best I’ve ever had) and bananas foster. Highly recommend!

Really good food and the service is great.

This place is so cozy, especially on a cold winter day! The gumbo was absolutely delicious, rich and comforting, perfect for a chilly Chicago winter. The rest of the food we ordered was good too, and you really don’t need to go to New Orleans for authentic Creole flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Food and atmosphere were great! We had one bad drink but the staff were so kind and remade it for us. I would definitely return

I attended a social event at Storyville and the place was awesome. Very friendly atmosphere among the staff. The food served was tasty. Since it was a social event I'm not familiar with their regular menu but if the catered food is an indication it is worth a visit to explore a great place.

Wow! Storyville did not disappoint! The service provided by the bartender, Chantel, embodied the culture, passion, and spirit of Chicago. And the spirits she crafted were truly unique and refreshing. I drink espresso martinis faithfully. Not even going to lie, she made the best one I’ve ever had! And the food- chef’s kiss. The atmosphere including the aromas and art were great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Storyville was a great brunch spot my girlfriend found. Great atmosphere, food was so so good!! They have this fantastic sauce our server Tony recommended and wow, was he right! As for service, Tony was such a down to earth person- great service, was very personable, and went over the top to give us great recommendation for tourists. Stop by if you want a great brunch spot with a great vibe, great food, and affordable bottomless mimosas!

If you're looking for tasty cajun seasoning and friendly service - this is the place. I love their dessert beignets! The staff here are always so helpful.

As a Louisianian, when traveling, every city claims to have "Louisiana flavor" food. We celebrated my birthday at Storyville. We had a blast and the food was delicious! We ordered several different plates to get a taste of everything...and everything was well seasoned. We had: Fried Okra Gumbo Pasta Jambalaya Cajun Linguini Chicken Wings

Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food, but the vibes and the staff here were great! Very cool place to hangout. If in the area I recommend trying Storyville.

This place was well worth the visit! My group arrived during Happy Hour and took advantage of the great deals they had going on. The drinks were delicious, the vibe was immaculate, and the service was impeccable. I truly appreciated the friendly bartenders and their great attitudes. We were also eternally grateful for the hostess who worked hard to get us a table and make us feel welcome despite the busyness.

The atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed my Hurricane and my wife enjoyed her cocktail although to be honest I forget which one it was! (It was one of their specialty ones.) I enjoyed the jambalaya pasta and my wife loved the redfish. We did not check out the speakeasy but will definitely be back and plan on seeing it. I would highly recommend this place

Stumbled on this place when looking for a last minute brunch plan and it did not disappoint! We decided to sit at bar instead of waiting for a table since we didn’t have a reservation, the staff was friendly and inviting, especially our bartender Chantel, who was really sweet and attentive. The food was so flavorful, the portion sizes were huge and everything came out hot and fresh. Planning to check out the speakeasy on my next visit!

Chantel & Donnie are amazing. This is a staple and I have to come almost every week. The atmosphere is amazing and the people are even better. Happy hour is 4 to 6 every single day so you gotta find your way here.

Wemt straight for the pasta jambalaya with a cranberry drink and was not disappointed at all. The flavour was gorgeous and so happy they had a gluten free option. The man serving was very lovely and considerate, it was comforting to have someone to converse with as a solo traveller. He would ensure that visitors feel safe and gave me the perfect portion size I could handle as I know American food can be rather large. Definitely is a surprise to me that nearly their whole drinks menu is just alcohol lol.

My husband found this place on TikTok and it stated they had a New Orleans vibe and we wanted to try it out for my birthday and it was everything the food the service the drinks and the atmosphere definitely a New Orleans vibe food was served hot and great waiters and front desk was so nice I will be back 10/10

They allowed my fiancé and I to come in a little early to the speakeasy for our engagement photo shoot. The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating and we truly appreciated them for letting us do this. The speakeasy is the perfect vibe that we were hoping for, dark and moody with some older charm. Drinks were also fantastic!

Ordered the Gumbo and burger and both were phenomenal. The gumbo could use a little spice but overall was very yummy, rice well cooked, sausage and shrimp cooked to perfection. The burger was also delicious, and the sauce was good. Also the beignets were so soft and sweet. Recommend, will be returning!

Donnie J was absolutely AMAZING! She found out I was visiting from out of town and went out of her way to make sure brunch was top notch. She was so personable, professional, and accommodating. Make sure you ask for her if you visit!

The good is always amazing. The catfish nuggets and wings are some of the best I ever had. Donnie was helping us out and she was an amazing hostess and waitress. She was doing everything in that place from hosting to waitressing to serving. Really enjoyable experience.

Happy Hour is a must!!! You definitely bang for your buck with good portions. I enjoyed the okra and savory beignets. Red beans and rice were a nice comfort food. It’s not a dish I would get each time, but worth trying if you want some warm goodness. I highly recommend the frozen hurricane!

Don’t listen to the bad reviews, I’ve been here almost 4 times and each time is better then the last. We tried the savory beignets , catfish nuggets, creamy Cajun linguine, and jambalaya and everything was amazinggg. The drinks were perfect as well. And The service is impeccable. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago !

Came to brunch with a few of my girlies and was immediately pleased with the stylish Nola decor and vibe! Bonnie was very thoughtful and helpful with choosing drinks and menu items. My chicken and waffles was so yummy, chicken flavorful and waffles not too sweet! Also, Bonnie’s Mule is one of the tastiest cocktails (you can add alcohol to it(; ) I’ve had in the city! Totally recommend for brunch and would come for dinner!
