Me and my husband visited Storyville on our anniversary for happy hour. We were absolutely blown away by the style and vibe of this establishment. They had great happy hour specials for drinks and food before we hit the town. We had appetizers and a few drinks that were great. Our waitress Jenny was great, very personable and friendly. We decided that we would come back a second time the same night to enjoy entrees after doing some sight seeing! I would recommend for a nice chill date night and cool vibes and music.

Mimics the feel of any New Orleans spot better than any place I've been to in Chicago. Delicious food and great drink options.

The food is amazing. The ambiance is beautiful. But, the most amazing part of my experience was the customer service. Jada is amazing at what she does. She was very patient, knowledgeable, comedic, attentive & friendly. I will definitely be back. Ps. You won’t regret the catfish nuggets. Get them!

Went here for the first time last night and i will be going back. the atmosphere and service was great. we got the catfish and fries and wings and fries happy hour deal and both were full of flavor. we think the portions of the wings could have been bigger, but the cost for drinks made up for that

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Storyville Chicago, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to the heart of New Orleans. Food and customer service was 1000/10.

The one thing I can say for sure is WOW! The food and drinks were out of this world. We had the Fat Tuesday fries with steak, Creamy Cajun Linguine, and then Bananas Foster. We honestly cannot wait to go back. The only thing to prep for is that service is a bit slow BUT it’s a nice change of pace in that you’re not being rushed in any way or rushed out but we did have to flag the server once or twice after we waited a bit too long. With that being said, I didn’t mind it because our server was such a sweetheart and was so attentive to each table so if I had to go with rushed and inattentive vs slow and attentive, I would go for the latter!!

I had the best date night with my boyfriend at Storyville! It’s such a cute spot near my apartment and we finally stopped in to try it. Such a cool vibe… We started with the fried okra, then shared the blackened shrimp etouffe and redfish jambalaya entrees. The Windy City hurricane hit the spot. Somehow, we managed to save a little room for some beignets, sooo good! I will be back with my girlfriends next time for cocktails and music in the speakeasy downstairs for sure!

Storyville is amazing! BEST espresso martinis in Chicago, beautiful authentic food, and perfect atmosphere. I got my tarot cards read by the lovely Lore who was so on-point she brought me to tears! Absolutely one of the BEST speakeasy’s in downtown Chicago and is a MUST for anyone new to the city!

if i could give this 10 stars i would!! Donnie and her team are impeccable, the service, the food, the vibe and the kindness of the staff made my experience 1111/10. I had the shrimp and grits which was 100% done NOLA style and was amazing (one of the best i’ve ever had) I also had the french toast which was rich and sweet and to my liking . Donnie was amazing and so attentive to me and my table and i couldn’t say enough good things. if your in town and need good bottomless mimosas and good food this is your place! i will be back All love! Donnie made this place special!! Thank you guys. Went here to celebrate a birthday brunch with my best friend and had an amazing time. The restaurant was sadly a little empty but the food and service made it such a good time. Definitely worth every penny.

Stopped in for a drink with a co-worker and had an amazing experience! I had the Bayou Margarita and the catfish nuggets, which were both delicious 😋. Staff are very friendly as well!

I was absolutely blown away by this place; the vibes, service, and food were amazing, but especially the food. I wish I took more pictures, but we got the cajun wings, jambalaya, spicy shrimp pasta, espresso martinis, and banana foster for dessert, and they were all just so flavorful and delicious. I’ll be back even if it’s just for takeout because I can’t stop thinking about the food. Highly recommend.

We had a blast at this place! We didn't have any food, but it sure smelled amazing. We were there for the drinks. Their Bourbon Street Old Fashioned was top-notch. The banana liqueur added a delightful flavor. Our server and the manager were both lovely. It's a charming spot!

My first time experience here was amazing. I came here with my man. Our experience was wonderful from the waitress to the drinks and food. Everything came out fresh and hot. The Hurricane drink I had Hit me really good. Donnie was amazing from the moment we walked in. 10/10 for us.

She was very knowledgeable about happy hour and all menu items. She also serves with a smile that’s top tier and she serves with urgency and reassurance that the customers enjoyed their food and service. Me and my wife stopped in for happy hour, and the food and the drinks were phenomenal. Got the wings, fat fries, and a burger. All so good! The hostess was also the waitress, and she did a great job covering the whole restaurant. It was a lot for one person but handled everything well.

The gorgeous Style was giving a southern charm. Very secluded lounge, it felt like a speakeasy very mysterious spot. Donna was our sever. She was very friendly attentive and gorgeous lady. Her service was excellent. Ordered the Steak Frites & Chicken ETouffee. Delicious and flavorful. Portions were generous and drinks definitely were worth the hyped. Also placed reservations through OpenTable my all time favorite APP! Our reservation was for @1030pm. Kitchen also stayed opened till midnight which is very rare. Gotta check em out ! You will not be disappointed!

My lady and I visited in the spirit of our upcoming trip to New Orleans. We had a wonderful experience with the Server/Hostess Monique and the Bartender Donnie. They were very attentive and accommodating. They were visiting every table to ensure everyone received good hospitality. The vibe was great, the food was great, the ambiance (look) was great, and the service was wonderful. We plan on returning with friends and family.

Just moved to Chicago, and we stumbled in here. We asked the bartender to surprise us and Meika made us the most amazing drinks!! Definitely come here for a good vibe and a good time. Not to mention the drinks Meika makes are top tier!

Had an amazing time at storyville the drinks and the food were top tier.I’m giving the place a 5 instead of a 4 because after dining in the main room. We went down to the speakeasy where a bartender named Meka challenged our preconceived ideas about how a sidecar was supposed to taste. Hands down one of my favorite cocktails in the city. If you go make sure you stop by the speakeasy and see him

Great pick for happy hour, tho I do recommend reservations. Beignets, both sweet and savory, are delicious. Chicken was solid as well. *watch out however as they add gratuity to your check and don’t alert you. Could easily double tip* Will be back!

Wow!! This was the greatest gumbo I have had in a very very long time! The banana foster was so yummy! The service was fast and on point. The atmosphere is pleasant and calm. They even fixed a special plate for my 6 year old daughter!! She loved it vegetables and all! Kid-friendliness: Very nice with kids and accommodation was great for her

Was here last night to see Brown Bottom Burlesque and this place was so great! I highly recommend the creamy Cajun linguine with grilled chicken! Perfectly seasoned, great spice, and the chicken was very well cooked and juicy. Plus it came with a savory beignet on the side that was very fluffy and crispy!! The bartender also made me a really great mocktail 10/10

Storyville Friday night was a true experience. the ambiance is so sexy, the food (appetizers, entrees, dessert) and craft drinks all delicious and the music was like my personal playlist. It was a total vibe. It was busy and there was also an event that evening, I was attending. While enjoying our evening, there was a woman named Donnie, checking on everyone, accommodating last minute changes, keeping everything smooth and flowing. She was doing so well that I asked if she owned or managed the establishment because she handled challenges efficiently , making sure everything was good in such a flowing calm manner. I will definitely be back.

Soo good!! Food and staff were amazing! Every single item we ordered was delicious. Favorites were the okra, the red snapper, & the wings! Wasn't able to get a reservation but the bar had plenty of space for 2 ppl! Would highly recommend 👌🏾

We went there for dinner, a group of seven. The reservation was for 8:30p but our table was not ready yet. They sat us at the bar and gave all of us a free drink to accommodate for the wait. They were very hospitable, and the atmosphere was nice and chill. The food was also good. I would go back.

This place is a hidden Creole gem! If you're a fan of New Orleans cuisine or music, you found your new favorite spot. Friday after 9 there's love piano playing. No matter the time of day there's a mix of sultry and sorting jazz and balsa bova tunes constantly flowing but not so loud you can't hear your date. And if you're up late head downstairs to the speakeasy for a show and cocktails, if you're sober don't worry they make a mean mocktail. I've been to brunch and dinner service on multiple occasions and because of those experiences I recommended you delight your senses with Chicken Poboys, Fat Tuesday Fries, Red Beans & Rice, Chicken Linguine and Bananas Foster. They all taste so authentic you'll feel like you went to New Orleans minus the price of a flight. If you get a Poboy, don't forget to ask for hotsauce it elevates the experience. Skip the breakfast menu, it's lacking in flavor. If you're into fusion food and looking for a savory beignet, you'll enjoy there's because the beignets are definitely the chefs personal interpretation. If you're a fan of cafe du monde, you'll be disappointed in the beignets.

Rocky makes the best custom cocktail 🍸 This is a New Orleans style lounge with great drinks. I've ordered off the menu several times and the drinks are creative, flavorful, and skillfully made. Tonight I asked for the bartender, Rocky, to make me a floral gin drink, and she whipped a new concoction up and knocked it out of the park. If you want a craft cocktail you can't go wrong coming to this place.
